GoHighLevel SaaS mode is the Agency Pro feature that lets you sell HighLevel to clients as your own monthly software subscription. Clients sign up and pay through your checkout, their accounts are created automatically, and you can rebill phone, email and AI usage at a markup. This guide explains what GoHighLevel SaaS mode includes, which plan you need, how the SaaS Configurator and rebilling work, how agencies price their plans, and the pitfalls to avoid, as of October 2026.
What is GoHighLevel SaaS mode?
HighLevel’s pricing page describes SaaS mode as a way to turn HighLevel into your own sellable software product. You sell subscriptions from your website, the system creates client accounts without manual work, and you earn recurring revenue from your plan price plus rebilled usage.
In practice, SaaS mode turns an agency from “we do marketing for you” into “we also give you the software.” Clients log in to your branded platform, and you control which features each plan unlocks.
HighLevel’s SaaS mode page splits the feature set in two:
- Agency features: automatic sub-account creation, automatic user and permission setup, dunning (locking accounts for non-payment), usage rebilling and a SaaS dashboard.
- Client features: the tools your clients use daily, such as two-way texting, web chat, social messaging, reputation management and missed-call text-back.
Which GoHighLevel plan includes SaaS mode?
SaaS mode is part of the Agency Pro plan, which costs $497/month or $4,970/year on HighLevel’s pricing page as of October 2026. All plans come with a 14-day free trial.
| Feature (as of October 2026) | Starter $97/mo | Unlimited $297/mo | Agency Pro $497/mo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sub-accounts | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Rebill phone and email | No | Yes, at cost (no markup) | Yes, with markup |
| SaaS mode | No | No | Yes |
| Automated sub-account creation | No | No | Yes |

How the SaaS Configurator works
The SaaS Configurator is the agency-level tool where you build and manage your plans. HighLevel’s help center says it lets you define pricing, features, snapshots, add-ons, Marketplace apps, trials, credits and usage billing for each plan.
SaaS V1 vs SaaS V2
As of October 2026, HighLevel supports two billing setups that can run side by side:
| SaaS V1 | SaaS V2 | |
|---|---|---|
| System of record | Stripe | A designated Agency Sub-Account in HighLevel |
| Payment providers | Stripe | Supported providers connected to that sub-account |
| Proration on plan changes | Handled through the Stripe workflow | Not supported for tier or billing interval changes |
HighLevel says V1 and V2 are separate architectures, so you do not migrate from one to the other. Pick one per plan based on your payment provider and billing needs.
What goes into a SaaS plan
- Plan details and a plan category (categories hold one currency and define upgrade paths).
- Monthly and/or annual pricing.
- Features the client can access (at least one is required) and an optional snapshot.
- Paid add-ons and up to 10 bundled Marketplace apps.
- Trial length and complimentary credits.
- Usage billing and rebilling settings.
Plan levels inside a category work as a ladder. HighLevel says higher-level plans inherit the features of levels beneath them, and you can reorder plans without forcing existing subscribers onto new products.
Selling and onboarding
You can sell plans through a funnel order form or share a direct checkout link using “Copy Sale Link” in the Configurator. After a successful checkout, HighLevel confirms payment, creates or links the sub-account, applies the plan’s snapshot if one is attached, and starts the subscription or trial.
Existing clients can be moved onto a SaaS plan from the sub-account’s Manage Client screen. HighLevel also supports special prices for individual clients, which is useful for grandfathered or enterprise rates.
How rebilling works in SaaS mode
Rebilling is how you recover, and profit from, usage costs like SMS, calls, email and AI. HighLevel’s help center explains it through wallets as of October 2026:
- HighLevel always charges your agency wallet for sub-account usage at HighLevel’s price.
- With rebilling on, your own Stripe account charges the client’s card to fund their sub-account wallet.
- On Agency Pro, you can add a markup, so the client pays more than your cost and you keep the difference.
HighLevel says sub-accounts created through the SaaS Configurator have rebilling with markup on by default. Wallets reload automatically when they drop below a set minimum, and services pause if a wallet goes negative. Charges through your Stripe account carry normal Stripe processing fees.
Reselling is the fixed-price version of the same idea, letting you offer services such as WhatsApp, WordPress hosting or Marketplace apps at your own price. For example, HighLevel’s pricing page lists WhatsApp at $10/month per sub-account as of October 2026, and you can charge clients that amount or more. Our GoHighLevel SMS pricing guide covers the usage rates you will be marking up.
How do agencies price GoHighLevel SaaS plans?
There is no official price list for agency SaaS plans. You set your own. Most agencies build pricing from three layers:
- Your cost floor: a share of the $497/month Agency Pro fee, any per-sub-account add-ons (HighLevel lists items like AI Employee and WhatsApp per sub-account), Stripe fees and your support time.
- Your value layer: what the software replaces for the client, such as a separate CRM, scheduler, texting tool and website builder.
- Your usage margin: the markup on rebilled SMS, calls, email and AI.
A common structure is three tiers in one category. A starter tier covers core CRM and messaging, a middle tier adds automation and reputation tools, and a top tier adds AI features and priority support. Because higher levels inherit lower-level features, this ladder maps neatly onto the Configurator.
Niche plans also sell well. A plan built for one industry, with a matching snapshot, feels like purpose-built software. You can see an example in our GHL SaaS agency snapshot project, and our GoHighLevel snapshots guide explains how snapshots power onboarding.
Common GoHighLevel SaaS mode pitfalls
- Selling before the white label is ready. Clients should see your own domain, logo and app. Our GHL white label guide explains why branding matters.
- Changing a V1 Stripe price but forgetting to re-import it into the funnel. HighLevel says existing order forms do not update automatically.
- Mixing currencies in one plan category. Upgrade paths only work between plans in the same currency.
- Assuming V2 prorates plan changes. HighLevel says it does not prorate tier or interval changes as of October 2026.
- Bundling apps and expecting existing clients to get them. Auto-install only applies to new sub-accounts on that plan.
- Ignoring wallets. A failed card or empty wallet can pause a client’s texting and calling.
- Skipping A2P 10DLC. Every client that texts US numbers needs its own approved registration, so build that step into onboarding.
- Underpricing support. Software clients still need help, and that time must be in the price.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is GoHighLevel SaaS mode included in every plan?
No, as of October 2026 SaaS mode is only part of the Agency Pro plan at $497/month or $4,970/year. The Starter and Unlimited plans do not include it. Unlimited can rebill phone and email at cost, but only Agency Pro adds markup, SaaS mode and automated sub-account creation.
What is the GoHighLevel SaaS Configurator?
It is the agency-level tool for building and managing SaaS plans. You set pricing, choose features, attach a snapshot, add paid add-ons and Marketplace apps, configure trials and credits, and set usage billing. It also generates checkout links and handles upgrades and downgrades between plans.
Do I need Stripe for GHL SaaS mode?
SaaS V1 uses Stripe as its billing system, so you connect Stripe at the agency level. SaaS V2 uses a designated Agency Sub-Account with a supported payment provider connected under Payments. Rebilling usage to clients also runs through your agency’s Stripe account, according to HighLevel’s help center.
How much should I charge for a GoHighLevel SaaS plan?
HighLevel does not set agency prices, so start from your costs, including your share of the Agency Pro fee, per-sub-account add-ons, Stripe fees and support time. Then price on the value of the tools you replace, and add a margin on rebilled usage. Many agencies offer three tiers.
Can I rebill SMS and email at a markup?
Yes, on Agency Pro, where HighLevel charges your agency wallet at its price, and your Stripe account charges the client’s wallet at your marked-up price. The Unlimited plan allows rebilling at cost only. Sub-accounts created through the SaaS Configurator have rebilling with markup on by default.
Can I move existing clients into SaaS mode?
Yes. HighLevel lets you add a SaaS subscription to an existing sub-account from its Manage Client screen, choose or create the customer, select the plan and complete payment. You can also give that client a special price without changing your public plan pricing.
