What Is LeadConnector? The App, the Charge and Its Link to GoHighLevel – AutoGen CRM

Last updated:

LeadConnector is a brand name used by HighLevel, the marketing and CRM software also known as GoHighLevel. HighLevel uses it for its free mobile app, its built-in phone and texting service (LC Phone), its email service (LC Email) and its Zapier app. If you saw “LeadConnector” on a bank statement, in a text message or in an app store, it almost always points to a business that runs on HighLevel software.

This guide explains each place the name appears, what it means for you, and what to do next. Every HighLevel detail below comes from official HighLevel pages and app store listings, checked as of October 2026.

What is LeadConnector?

HighLevel is an all-in-one platform that agencies and small businesses use for contacts, pipelines, calendars, texting, email, funnels and automation. Our guide on what GoHighLevel is covers the full platform.

LeadConnector is the name HighLevel puts on several of the services inside that platform. HighLevel’s own blog calls its mobile app “a fully branded mobile app called LeadConnector,” and its LeadConnector Communication page describes LeadConnector email and LC Phone as built-in services, so users do not need a separate email or phone provider.

You may also see the name in web addresses. For example, the app’s App Store listing points to leadconnectorhq.com for its privacy policy.

What is the Lead Connector app?

The LeadConnector app is HighLevel’s free mobile app for iPhone and Android. On the Apple App Store it is listed as “Lead Connector,” free, in the Productivity category, with LEADCONNECTOR LLC as the developer.

HighLevel says users log in with the same credentials they use on the desktop. Once inside, they can reach conversations, notifications, point of sale, calendars, appointments and contacts.

The app only works for people who have a login to a HighLevel account. If an agency or business set up an account for you, you can find the App Store and Google Play download links in the Mobile App section of your sub-account.

Why does my agency call it something else?

Many agencies resell HighLevel under their own brand, so you may know the software by the agency’s product name. If you can log in to the LeadConnector app with your agency’s login, your CRM runs on HighLevel. Some agencies also publish their own branded app, which we cover below.

Why is there a LeadConnector charge on my statement?

We could not find an official HighLevel page that lists the exact wording HighLevel uses on card statements, so treat this section as a checklist. Because LeadConnector is a HighLevel brand, a charge with that name is most likely connected to a HighLevel account.

The most common reasons are these:

  • You or your company has a HighLevel account. This could be a subscription you started, or one a team member or former employee set up with a company card.
  • Usage charges. HighLevel’s pricing page says usage-based charges apply on top of plans, such as texting, calls, email and AI. These can appear as separate, smaller charges.
  • Your agency’s software. If you pay a marketing agency for a CRM, it may be HighLevel under another brand. Agencies on HighLevel’s Unlimited and Agency Pro plans can rebill phone and email usage to their clients.

To find the source, search your email for receipts that mention HighLevel, LeadConnector or your agency’s software name. Ask anyone on your team who handles marketing. If you still cannot match the charge to an account, contact HighLevel support or your card issuer about it.

Why did I get a text from LeadConnector?

LeadConnector itself does not decide who to text. HighLevel’s help center describes LC Phone as HighLevel’s own telephony service, which powers calls and SMS for the businesses that use the platform.

So when a text arrives through LeadConnector, it comes from a specific business with its own phone number. That business wrote the message and chose to send it to you.

How do I find out which business is texting me?

  1. Read the message for a business name, a booking link or a website.
  2. Think back to recent forms, quotes, bookings or giveaways where you shared your number.
  3. Call the number back during business hours and ask who you have reached.
  4. Search the full number online or in your call log to see if it matches a company you know.

Do not click links or share personal details in a text you were not expecting. A real business will tell you who it is if you ask.

How do I stop LeadConnector texts?

Reply STOP to the message. HighLevel’s help center says that when a contact replies with opt-out keywords such as STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE, the account turns on Do Not Disturb (DND) for that contact.

The opt-out applies to the business that texted you, since each business has its own account. If several businesses text you, reply STOP to each one. To opt back in later, HighLevel says the contact sends an opt-in message such as START.

If messages continue after you reply STOP, or a text looks like a scam, use your phone’s “report junk” option and report it to your mobile carrier.

What are LC Phone and LC Email?

LC Phone and LC Email are the “LeadConnector” services that power messaging inside HighLevel. HighLevel’s LeadConnector Communication page says they remove the need to connect a third-party email or phone provider to send and receive email, SMS and calls.

  • LC Phone handles phone numbers, calls and SMS. HighLevel says it includes built-in A2P 10DLC compliance support for U.S. texting.
  • LC Email is HighLevel’s built-in email service provider, which sends and receives email for the account without a separate third-party SMTP provider.

Both are billed by usage. For current per-message rates and how they add up, see our GoHighLevel SMS pricing guide.

What is LeadConnector on Zapier?

HighLevel’s help center says its Zapier app appears under the name LeadConnector. Zapier is a tool that moves data between apps when something happens in one of them.

Business owners use it to pass contacts between HighLevel and other tools, such as email platforms, form builders and spreadsheets. If you see LeadConnector in your company’s Zapier account, someone on your team has connected a HighLevel account.

Can agencies white-label the LeadConnector app?

Yes. HighLevel offers a white label mobile app as an add-on, listed on its pricing page at $497 a month as of October 2026. With it, an agency’s clients download an app under the agency’s own name and logo instead of LeadConnector.

HighLevel’s self-service Whitelabelled Mobile App Customizer lets agencies brand the app icon, splash screen, login logos, colors and fonts. The help center lists these requirements:

  • A HighLevel subscription for the Custom Agency App, billed monthly or quarterly.
  • An Apple Developer Program organization account with App Store Connect access.
  • A Google Play Console organization account.
  • A valid D-U-N-S number, policy URLs and the right admin roles.

The agency publishes the app through its own developer accounts. Plan time for Apple and Google review, and have your privacy policy and support pages ready before you start.

White-labeling usually goes hand in hand with a custom domain, SaaS mode and client onboarding. Our GoHighLevel white-label setup service starts from $1,500 and covers the white-label domain and app, SaaS mode, rebilling, 3 snapshots and an onboarding SOP.

Is LeadConnector legitimate?

Yes, LeadConnector is a real software brand tied to HighLevel, and its app is published on the major app stores. The name on a text or charge tells you which software was used. It does not tell you whether a particular sender is trustworthy.

Judge each message by the business behind it. If you never gave a business your number, treat the text with care, reply STOP, and report it if it continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is LeadConnector the same as GoHighLevel?

LeadConnector is a name HighLevel uses for parts of its platform, including the mobile app, the LC Phone and LC Email services and the Zapier app. GoHighLevel is the common name for the HighLevel software itself. If something says LeadConnector, it is almost always connected to an account that runs on HighLevel.

Is the LeadConnector app free?

Yes. The LeadConnector app is free on the Apple App Store as of October 2026, and HighLevel describes its mobile app as free. You need a login to a HighLevel account to use it. Texts, calls and email sent from the app still count as usage on that HighLevel account.

Why did LeadConnector text me if I never signed up?

LeadConnector did not choose to text you. A business that uses HighLevel sent the message from its own number. You may have shared your number on a form, booking or quote request. Reply STOP to opt out of that business, and report the text as junk if you never gave consent.

Will replying STOP block every LeadConnector text?

Replying STOP opts you out of the business that sent the message. HighLevel turns on Do Not Disturb for your contact in that business’s account. Other businesses using HighLevel have separate accounts, so you would need to reply STOP to each of them as well.

How do I cancel a LeadConnector charge?

First find out which account it belongs to. Search your email for HighLevel or agency receipts and ask your team. If you own the HighLevel account, cancel or change the plan in its billing settings. If an agency bills you, contact the agency. If you cannot identify the charge, contact your card issuer.

Can I put my agency’s logo on the LeadConnector app?

Yes, through HighLevel’s white label mobile app add-on, listed at $497 a month as of October 2026. You brand the icon, logos, colors and fonts, then publish the app with your own Apple and Google developer accounts. Clients then download your branded app instead of LeadConnector.
